Bye, Bye Idre!

Efter fyra dagar var det dags att säga hejdå till Idre. Kanske ses vi nästa år igen.

Tyvärr blev det varken någon våffla i Fjällstugan eller något virkande men desto mer jobb och jag slog ett ordentligt rekord i antal hyrbilar. Det tog mig två Toyota Avensis och en Renault Megane, innan vi slutligen fick en Volvo V70 och då hämtade jag första bilen inne i stan och var på Arlanda två gånger. Totalt körde jag 150 km utan att betala någon bensin, tack Budget/Avis, men jag hade hellre haft bättre saker för mig en lördagkväll. Första team buildings uppgiften blev att byta takbox till fjärde bilen. Om någon funderar på att köpa en Renault Megane, så gör det inte. Däremot är Volvon som bekant bra och vi körde från Arlanda – Idre – Upplands Väsby (942 km) på en tank! Det var en Diesel men det hade ni kanske räknat ut. Varför bytte jag bil så ofta? På hyreskontraktet stod det Volvo, men jag fick två bilar utan takräcke och på den tredje kunde man inte öppna bagageluckan, vilket är ganska nödvändigt om man ska ha in packning för 5 personer.

Bye, Bye Idre! I’m not going to say much about the conference, however I’ll tell you all about my record with car rentals. It took me two Toyota Avensis and one Renault Megane until I finally got the Volvo V70. I picked up the first car in town and had to go to Arlanda two times. I drove in total 150 km without paying for petrol, thanks Budget/Avis, however I would rather spend Saturday afternoon doing other things. Thanks also to Chris who came along (pretty much no choice). The first team building task for me and my colleagues was to change roof box to the forth car. If you ever think of buying a Renault Megane, then don’t do it. The Volvo on the other hand is as you know a good car. We drove 942 Km on one tank of Diesel! If you wonder why I changed car so often? Well, 2 cars didn’t have any roof bars, and the third one wouldn’t let you open the boot.
